Any information collected will be done so by employees of ‘Christchurch Bridal Hair and Make-Up’. We collect information concerning the date and purpose of clients' events, together with relevant contact details (i.e. client's address, contact number, email, venue’s address, etc.). Information we collect in relation to an event is never shared with third parties. However, payments made to us are shared, for tax purposes, with relevant organisations (i.e. professional accountancy services we utilise; HMRC). Information we collect will enable us to supply the goods or services requested. It will also enable us to issue invoices and to contact clients where necessary, concerning the goods or services requested. Client information will be stored for 6 years to comply with HMRC requirements.
We also collect information concerning event requirements pertaining to hair and make-up for anyone booked to receive our services (i.e. the Bride, bridal party members, guests, prom party, etc.) during the pre-treatment consultation. The information we collect in the pre-treatment consultation ensures safe working practices in line with current health & safety legislation. Consultation forms are kept for 3 years for insurance purposes. A copy of the form can be made available to view in advance on request.
We employ security measures to protect client information from access by unauthorised persons and against unlawful processing, accidental loss, destruction and damage. A description of rights relating to the information we collect are available here: Individual Rights. If you have any concerns about the way we have processed your information, please contact us on the following email address in the first instance: email@example.com. If you then feel that your concern has not been adequately dealt with, you are free to contact the Information Commissioner’s Office directly.
